Story 2: The Time Machine (Part 4 )

Read "Instructions", "Missing" and "The Seven Buildings" before you read this. “He left his time machine,” Tyler said. “Maybe the note will explain why he did that,” James said as he picked up the paper. Tyler looked at the paper. It had an explanation on how to go to the time Sam was in using the time machine. Tyler looked at the note for more, but it had nothing else. “Let’s follow the instructions on the note,” Alice said. “Wait, why did Sam leave his time machine here?” James said. Alice stared at him. “To make sure the organization doesn’t get it of course.” “If he had just time traveled away, he wouldn’t have been able to destroy the organization's time machine,” Tyler added at James’s confused expression. “Oh,” James said. “Let’s follow the instructions then.” Tyler picked up the time machine and followed the instructions on the note. He felt like he had messed up several times but James and Aliced assured him that he had followed the instructi...

Story 2: Instructions (Part 3)

Read "Missing" and "The Seven Buildings" before you read this. Tyler appeared in an open area with several trees surrounding it. He still had the time machine in his hand. He looked around and saw that James and Alice were next to him. Then he noticed Sam standing in the middle of the area. Tyler, James, and Alice were hidden behind a tree so he couldn’t see them. James was about to ask something when two more versions of Sam appeared. “There are three Sams,” Tyler whispered. “Thank you Captain Obvious,” James replied. The two Sams which had just appeared had several differences. One of them looked thinner than the other. That version of Sam also looked older. “We don’t have much time,” the older version Sam said. He pointed at the Sam who had been there first. “You need to leave a time machine with Tyler, James, and Alice and leave them a note telling them to come here right now.” The version of Sam , who had been there first, looked surprised before nodding.  “Al...

Story 2: Missing (Part 2)

Read "The Seven Buildings" before you read this. About a month after Sam left to go to his time, Tyler was sitting in his room with James and Alice. “I am getting bored of playing Hangman,” James said. “We have only played six games so far,” Alice said. “Only?” “Let’s play Pictionary instead,” Tyler suggested with a grin. He knew that James hated playing Pictionary and would rather play Hangman. “No!” James said. “Let’s play tag.” Tyler shrugged. Normally they wouldn’t be allowed to play Tag indoors but their parents were on a business trip, so they could do whatever they wanted to do. He was fine with playing any of the games but Alice and James couldn’t agree on one to play. Alice shook her head. “Why don’t we just continue playing Hangman?” “No,” James said. “Hangman is boring.” “How can you not like hangman?” Tyler tried to think of a game both James and Alice liked. He couldn’t think of any. Before he could suggest just talking about something random, somebody appeared i...

Story 2: The Seven Buildings (Part 1)

Tyler looked at the news on his phone. On a normal day, he wouldn’t have. (He didn’t like reading the news and he was a kid so his parents could tell him if there was anything important on the news.) Today he read the headline for the article. Another building destroyed Tyler turned off his phone. About a month ago, a museum was destroyed. The police had no idea who had destroyed it and how they destroyed it. They assumed someone from inside the building, bombed it. A few days after that, another building was destroyed. This continued twice more. The building that was destroyed in the headline was the fifth building destroyed in the last month. Tyler thought it was odd that the police hadn’t caught the culprit of the crime. He assumed that the same person (or group of people) destroyed the buildings. Another thing that was weird about all of the attacks was that someone pulled the fire alarm before the attacks happened. This meant that everybody was outside before the building was dest...

Story 1: Acting (Part 23)

Read "No Idea", "Missing", "Suspicions", "Captured again", "Hired", "The Reversal Potion 2", "Passing Notes", "After the Escape", "Escaping again", "Surprise", "Noticed", "The Plan", "The Reversal Potion", "The Meeting", "Substitute teacher", "Escape", "Introductions", "Captured", "Missions", "Questions", "F51?", and "The Flash of Light" before you read this. You can also read "Run!" Eric watched as the person released the potion in a room with only Sean in it. Sean had tried to escape, but had been stopped by the guards. This made Eric worry more because why would Sean try to escape if he hadn't given the person the actual potion? The person was now fully convinced that Sean had given him the real potion and seemed excited. Sean's expression...

You can also read "Run!" The first thing Zack noticed after he appeared in the house was that the door was broken. The second thing he noticed was Eric's adaptor lying on the floor in front of him. "They were captured," Zack said. "Yeah," Finn said staring at the broken door. "All of their adaptors are here," Connor said. "We have to help them escape," Saddie said. "We...

Story 1: Missing (Part 21)

Read "Suspicions", "Captured again", "Hired", "The Reversal Potion 2", "Passing Notes", "After the Escape", "Escaping again", "Surprise", "Noticed", "The Plan", "The Reversal Potion", "The Meeting", "Substitute teacher", "Escape", "Introductions", "Captured", "Missions", "Questions", "F51?", and "The Flash of Light" before you read this. You can also read "Run!" Zack stared at the watch. Right now, it was 4:59 and in one minute it would be time for the meeting. After a few seconds, there was a flash of light and he appeared in a room. The room was completely normal because they met at the same room every meeting. What wasn't normal was that Sean, Lana, and Eric were all missing. Alice was the first person to speak. "Where are Sean, Lana, and Eric?" "Th...
