Story 1: Captured (Part 5)

 Read "Missions",  "Questions", "F51?", and "The Flash of Light" before you read this.

Sean waited for E11, S12, A13, and C15 to arrive in a large room. He was standing next to F51. A few seconds later there was a flash of light and all four of them appeared.

He was relieved when he saw they were all okay. Sean had once been part of a group just like theirs because F51 had recruited him. Unfortunately, all three of his partners had been captured. He had narrowly escaped but had gotten injured.

"So that was how we were supposed to get here," E11 said.

Sean smiled faintly.

"Yes," F51 said. "But that is not why we are here today. E11, you heard people talking?"

"Yeah," E11 said.

"And they said something about a smell," F51 said.

E11 nodded.

F51 turned to Sean. "Do you think they are recreating the potion?"

"Yeah," Sean said. "But they have to be behind now."

"What potion?" C15 asked.

"The potion makes the people their servants so they have to liste-" Sean was cut off by a large flash of light.

Then there was a large explosion that threw Sean onto a wall. The last thing he saw was the face of the person who captured his partners.
