Sean had not expected to get a call from the principal of the school that day, saying that a bunch of students had come to his office asked the principal to hire him. His first thought that this might be an April Fools Day prank, and stated it to the principal. The principal told him that he didn't think the students would play a prank like that and asked him whether he wanted to work at the school. Sean said that he didn't but he knew somebody who might want to and would bring her to the school later that day.

Now, Sean was standing next to Lana at the school's entrance and the principal was talking to him.

"I think most of the classes want to see you, so can you be in the classroom when I introduced Lana?" the principal said.

"Sure," Sean replied. He was expecting the students to prank him if he entered the classroom, but he wasn't going to say no to the principal.

The principal smiled and opened the door to the school and quickly walked to the classroom.. Lana looked at him nervously, before stepping into the classroom.

Sean immediately saw that the students were holding up a sign which said:

"We want Dean back."

He then noticed another sign which said:

"No offense Mrs. Castro."

The other teacher who was presumably Mrs. Castro was staring at the signs in shock finally shouted, "what is the meaning of this?"

Sean barely managed to stop himself from laughing. The principal looked amused.

"You either misspelled my name which I kind of doubt," Sean said. "Or you are trying to prank me."

"How did you know?" several students shouted.

"You really shouldn't try to prank someone on April Fools Day, when they are expected to be pranked," Sean said.

"Mrs. Castro wouldn't have noticed it," one of the students said.

"You know you just said that in front of her," Sean said with a grin.

"Seriously Sean, act like an adult," Lana said.

"What's Lana doing here?" Eric asked.

"We are planning to hire her," the principal said.

"You aren't hiring Sean?!?!"

"He didn't want to get hired," Lana said.

"Why?" Eric asked.

"Ask Sean," Lana answered.

"Enough," Mrs. Castro shouted. "Why are you hiring her instead of me?"

"The students wanted me to," the principal said with a shrug.

"I am pretty sure the students didn't want you to say that," Sean said.

"They probably didn't," the principal admitted. "But anyways meet your knew teacher. Her name is Lana."

"Why can't you hire Sean?" one of the students asked.

"As Lana said, Sean didn't want to get hired. If you want to know why, ask Sean," the principal said.

"Why don't you want to get hired?" most of the students asked.

Sean shrugged, "I have other stuff to do."

"What other stuff?" Eric asked. "You are seventeen."

"You are seventeen?" several students asked.

"Um... yeah," Sean said. "But I already finished school and college."

"So, what do you have to do?' Eric asked.

"Um..." Sean said, slowly walking backwards towards the door of the classroom. "You can ask Lana."

He then ran out of the classroom. The principal and Mrs. Castro walked out a few seconds later.

"What does Sean have to do?" Eric asked Lana.

"I'll tell you later," Lana said. "Anyways class, what subject is this?"
