Story 1: Passing Notes (Part 16)

Eric walked into the school carefully. He remembered that today was April Fools Day, so someone might try to prank him. He was pretty sure no one was going to prank him because the person they wanted to prank was their substitute teacher Sean. 

Suddenly a person appeared next to him and whispered, "pretend his name is Dean instead of Sean. Spread the news to everybody in your class."

Eric spent the next few minutes telling everybody in his class to call Sean, Dean to prank him. He then quickly ran to class. Though once he walked in he noticed that Sean was not there, instead Mrs. Castro, their normal teacher, was.

"Everybody, sit down," Mrs. Castro said.

Everybody sat down.

"As you know I went on vacation and I just returned today. I am sure you guys are happy that I returned."

Everybody stared at her. They all liked having Sean as a teacher more than they liked having her as a  teacher.

"Can someone tell me what page we are on?" Mrs. Castro asked.

One of the students answered with the page number.

Eric felt something hit him. He blinked and saw a paper. He quickly opened it.

The paper said:

"Is Sean going to return?"

It was signed with the name of  the person who sent it to him.

Eric quickly pulled out a paper and wrote:

"Why do you think I know?"

He folded the paper in half and threw to someone when Mrs. Castro wasn't looking. He noticed many other people were writing notes to each other. He quickly answered to the messages he got until he read what on of the papers said.

"Do you  think Sean would agree to come back if we asked the principle to hire him?"

He was about too reply to the person who sent it when he realised class ended. He quickly left the room and noticed that many people were going towards the principal's office. He had a feeling they had got the same note he had and were going to ask Sean to return.

It was a giant house, in a castle-like form, with large pillars on each side, the center a flat brick wall with tiny holes for windows. Story 1: Surprise (Part 13)
